Queer Silicon Valley is a project of the BAYMEC Community Foundation (BCF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the creation of a more equal future for the LGBTQ+ community in Silicon Valley. BCF strives to chronicle local LGBTQ history and foster the next generation of LGBTQ leaders. The launch of the Queer Silicon Valley website was made possible by a grant from the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. Future phases of the project include plans for expanded digital content, a physical exhibit, educational events, and more.
